System Overview

Zone Utilization Percentage of orbital zones currently occupied by at least one satellite. Calculated as (occupied_zones / total_zones) × 100 from /api/analytics/overview.

Assigned Satellites Total number of satellites currently assigned to orbital zones. Retrieved from utilization.total_assigned_satellites in the analytics overview API.

Satellites in OZF zones

Occupied Zones Number of orbital zones that contain one or more satellites. Counted from distinct zone_id values in zone_assignments table.

Zones with ≥1 satellite

Unassigned Satellites Satellites tracked in the system but not yet assigned to any orbital zone. Calculated as total_satellites minus total_assigned_satellites.
